Ed Hurley - Chief Executive Officer

Ed Hurley is Chief Executive Officer of Alliant Capital LLC and oversees the strategic direction and operations of the firm. Prior to joining Alliant Capital, Mr. Hurley served as co-head for Wachovia’s multifamily lending business – now Wells Fargo. He joined Wachovia in 2003 when it acquired Lend Lease Mortgage Capital, the company he formerly led. During his tenure with Wachovia, Mr. Hurley was instrumental in building that company’s multifamily business into the top-ranked Fannie Mae multifamily lender in the country. Mr. Hurley also served as president of Amresco Mortgage Capital, Inc., a spinoff of NationsBank, where he built and managed a national commercial lending platform, leading the company to be among the top Fannie Mae DUS and Freddie Mac Program Plus lenders in the country. Mr. Hurley holds a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh and a Bachelor’s of Science in Applied Mathematics from Case Western Reserve University. He is an active member of the Mortgage Bankers Association of America, serving as Chair of the Commercial Board of Governors in 2006 and as a member of the Board of Directors in 2005 and 2006. He also has served as Chair of the Fannie Mae DUS Advisory Council and as a member of the NMHC Executive Committee. 

 
Kelley Prevete - EVP and Chief Financial Officer

Ms. Prevete, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Technology Officer, joined Alliant in July 2001. Prior to joining Alliant, Ms. Prevete was a financial analyst for a residential mortgage company, Rock Financial. Her previous experience also includes investor relations, SEC reporting, Initial Public Offering due diligence, budgeting and forecasting and merger and acquisition. Ms. Prevete has bachelors in Business Administration with concentrations in accounting and information technology.

 
Jay Blasberg - EVP and National Production Manager

Jay Blasberg joined the company in 1992. Prior to Alliant, he spent over 20 years in the commercial real estate industry as a correspondent to life insurance companies and thrifts with his own businesses. Having originated billions of dollars of multifamily loans during the course of his career, Jay is recognized nationally for his leadership in the expeditious handling and oversight of time-sensitive purchase money transactions, complicated refinances, as well as the instituting and restructuring of loan portfolios.

Justin W.D. Kennedy - EVP and Chief Underwriter

Justin W. D. Kennedy joined Alliant Capital LLC in August of 2011 as Fannie Mae DUS Chief Underwriter and Executive Vice President. He brings twenty five years of multifamily and commercial real estate analysis and underwriting management experience to the company.  He is based in Alliant’s Dallas, Texas office. Prior to joining Alliant, Mr. Kennedy was Senior Vice President and Chief Credit Officer for AmeriSphere Multifamily Finance, LLC in Dallas, Texas. He was in charge of all aspects of Screening, Underwriting, Closing, Loan Delivery and Asset Management for all Fannie Mae DUS and Conduit loans. Before AmeriSphere, Mr. Kennedy was Vice President and Chief Underwriter for Key Bank Real Estate Capital in Dallas, Texas. He was responsible for credit quality and program compliance for all Fannie Mae DUS and Freddie Mac Program Plus loans. As Vice President and Chief Underwriter for Arbor Commercial Mortgage, LLC in Bethesda, Maryland, Mr. Kennedy managed underwriters and analysts in six offices nationwide.  He was also responsible for credit quality and program underwriting compliance for all Fannie Mae DUS loans and reviewed and approved all multifamily transactions. Earlier in his career, Mr. Kennedy served in various positions within the financial industry including Financial Analyst, Loan Officer and as a licensed Certified General Appraiser. Mr. Kennedy received his MBA in Real Estate and Urban Development, Cum Laude, in 1991 from The American University in Washington D.C.
