Byron Steenerson
Byron Steenerson is President and CEO of Alliant Capital LLC and has been with Alliant since 1992. Prior to joining Alliant, he was Executive Vice President for R.S. Development in Seattle, WA, overseeing the development of 500 units and managing over 1,150 units. Byron has worked in real estate for more than 35 years including positions as Director of Housing and Community Development for Pierce County, Tacoma, WA (1974-1981), and as Executive Vice President for Henderson National Corporation, Oklahoma City, OK (1982-1988). He worked for Related Companies in Miami, FL (1989-1990) as a Senior Vice President responsible for acquisition, finance and construction of multifamily properties totaling over 2,200 units. Byron holds a bachelor's degree in Urban and Regional Planning and a Masters Degree in Business Administration. 
 
Shawn Horwitz

Shawn Horwitz is the President and a co-founder of The Alliant Company. From 1990 to 1997, Shawn was employed by a nationally recognized tax credit syndication as its Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer where he was responsible for the financial affairs of the company and its affiliates. Additionally, he was integrally involved in raising of equity, the acquisition process and the day-to-day running of the company. From 1984 to 1989, Shawn was employed in the Chicago office of Altschuler, Melvoin & Glasser as Senior Manager in the real estate industry group. From 1981 to 1984, he was employed as an auditor by Arthur Young & Co. Shawn holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting from Rhodes University in South Africa, and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

 
Sidney Kohl

Sidney Kohl is a co-founder of The Alliant Company and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Alliant, Inc., a Florida corporation and the general partner of Alliant (the "Manager"). He has an extensive and successful background in the real estate industry. Mr. Kohl was the developer and managing partner of two large regional malls, a portfolio of office and commercial space in excess of four million square feet and several thousand residential units. He has served on many civic boards and is an active supporter of several civic and charitable organizations, and holds degrees from the University of Wisconsin and Harvard Law School.

 
Scott Kotick

Scott Kotick is the Executive Vice President and a co-founder of The Alliant Company. He is responsible for identifying, structuring and acquiring properties. From 1992 to 1997, Scott was the Director of Acquisitions for a nationally recognized tax credit syndication firm. From 1987 to 1991, he was the Director of Acquisitions for M.P.I. Inc., a private multi-family firm in Beverly Hills, California. From 1976 to 1986, Scott was involved in the real estate consulting and tax consulting fields, including the international accounting firm of Arthur Andersen. He is a frequent speaker for various national affordable housing seminars and conferences, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Florida State University.
