Senior Vice President, Originations
Jen Erixon is Alliant’s Senior Vice President of Originations. With nearly 20 years of experience in affordable housing finance and development, Ms. Erixon has structured, negotiated, and closed more than $1B in LIHTC investments.
Ms. Erixon has held previous leadership roles in underwriting, investor sales and originations for two national LIHTC syndicators.
She received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Colorado Denver.
Vice President, Originations
Hammad Graham has over a decade of experience across multiple facets of affordable housing development and finance. Prior to joining Alliant, he directed all the development activities for Brisa Builder’s Corp. a Brooklyn, NY based for profit affordable housing developer. Hammad worked at RBC Capital Markets originating and closing tax credit investments in Massachusetts and New York. He also worked at the NYC Housing Development Corporation, underwriting and closing private activity housing bonds that were used to finance the development of affordable housing units in the five boroughs. Lastly, Hammad was a project manager at Madison Park Development Corporation, a Boston Community Development Corporation. Hammad received a BA in History from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst and an MBA in Global Management from Babson College.
Hammad is an avid tennis player and Liverpool F.C. football club supporter.
Joel Hauenstein is Alliant’s Vice President of Originations. Mr. Hauenstein began with Alliant in 2005 and is responsible for affordable housing originations in the Midwest. With 25 years of experience in the LIHTC industry originating, he has helped structure, negotiate and close over 140 affordable properties and $1B in equity investments.
Prior to arriving at Alliant, Mr. Hauenstein held V.P. positions with a large affordable housing firm for 9 years, and 5 years as a Project Manager at Krupp Brothers/Berkshire (REIT).
Blair Holden is Alliant’s Vice President of Originations, based out of Atlanta, GA. Mr. Holden has been involved in the finance, underwriting and portfolio management of affordable and market rate commercial real estate projects since 2001.
Prior to Alliant, Mr. Holden worked for SunTrust (now Truist), Community & Southern Bank (now Bank OZK) and RBC Bank (now PNC). Blair holds a B.A. from the University of Georgia.
Vice President, Originations
Macy Kisilinsky is a Vice-President of Originations at Alliant Capital and is responsible for acquisition of LIHTC properties in Michigan, Pennsylvania, Maryland, DC, and Virginia. He has over 20 years of experience in affordable housing and real estate development. Prior to joining Alliant, he gained tax credit expertise working as an originator on public housing and tax credit financed mixed-financed transactions with the National Equity Fund.
Immediately prior to joining Alliant, Mr. Kisilinsky held a similar position at PNC Bank. Mr. Kisilinsky is married with four children and resides in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Suraj Mistry is Vice President of Originations and responsible for LIHTC acquisitions for several states in the Southeastern region of the US. He has worked in the affordable housing industry for the last 9 years holding several different positions within Alliant and another nationally recognized LIHTC Syndicator. Suraj started as a Financial Analyst where he was tasked with creating complex financial models for new lower tier transactions. He later transitioned to an Asset Manager where he oversaw a portfolio of 65 LIHTC deals with debt and equity investments of over $750M. In his current role as VP of Originations, Suraj is responsible for sourcing and structuring new LIHTC equity investment opportunities with development partners.
Suraj received a Master’s degree in Real Estate Finance from Georgetown University and completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Southern California in Business Administration with an emphasis in Real Estate Finance and Development.
Mr. Schnier has over 40 years of real estate experience, with the emphasis in multi-family affordable rental housing. He has served as a Department Head in directing Palm Beach County’s Housing and Community Development Department; he has worked for a real estate developer developing, building, and managing affordable rental housing; he has worked for various Lenders’ (institutional and non-institutional), and he has worked for syndicators of Low Income Housing Tax Credits. His excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communicative skills allowed him to build consensus in promoting and delivering affordable rental housing for those less fortunate.
In his various capacities during the last 40 plus years, Mr. Schnier was responsible for the creation and financing of over 26,000 affordable multi-family rental units and raised approximately $300 million in equity through the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit program. Mr. Schnier has shown throughout his professional career a fervent commitment to community service and helping low and moderate-income families. As Director of Housing and Community Development for Palm Beach County and as a Deputy Director of Miami-Dade County’s Office of Community and Economic Development, Mr. Schnier had been involved in formulating and writing public policy initiatives to create affordable housing.
Mr. Schnier has served on various Board of Directors of community service type organization and he is currently a Board of Director of the Palm Beach County Housing Leadership Council; and Florida Coalition of Affordable Housing Providers. He has 2 Bachelor Degrees, one in Political Science and the other in Urban Planning, as well as a Master’s Degree in the Science of Management.
Mr. Walker is in the Originations department where he is responsible for the LIHTC acquisition of properties in portions of the Midwest and Western regions. He has 5 years of experience in the real estate industry, predominately in affordable housing. Mr. Walker started at Alliant working in the Investor Relations department where he helped all aspects of structuring and due diligence for proprietary and multi LIHTC funds.
Mr. Walker previously worked in Business Development at Crowley Maritime, one of the most diversified and largest privately owned transportation companies providing shipping, logistics and energy services globally. Mr. Walker has resided in Los Angeles, California for the last 7 years, and is originally from Dayton, Ohio. He graduated from Miami University (Ohio) with Finance, International Business and Chinese degrees. Mr. Walker has extensive international business experience having both worked and studied in Shanghai, China and Luxembourg City, Luxembourg.
